چکیده
Abstract Explosive actions are integral to soccer performance and highly influenced by the ability generate maximal power. The purpose of this study was investigate relationship between force-velocity profile, jump performance, acceleration sprint speed in elite female players. Thirty-nine international players (24.3±4.7 years) performed 40-m sprints, countermovement jumps five loaded squat at increasing loads determine individual profiles. Theoretical velocity, theoretical force, power output, one repetition back relative body mass were determined using profile. Counter movement jump, output demonstrated moderate large correlation with (r=? 0.32 ?0.44 ?0.32 ?0.67 respectively, p<0.05). velocity a trivial small (p>0.05). Vertical profiling strength can provide valuable insight into neuromuscular qualities an athlete individualize training, but produce power, further transference must be central program design.

The aim of this study was to compare performance in sprint, change of direction speed, vertical jump and jump squat tests between elite soccer players from two different age categories (i.e., under-20 and senior players) from the same soccer club. Players performed sprints (average velocity at 5, 10 and 20 m), zig-zag change of direction speed (COD speed), squat and countermovement jump tests a...

The aim of this study was to profile physical characteristics of soccer players measured by acceleration, vertical jump (VJ), horizontal jump (HJ) and change of direction ability (CODA) tests, and to quantify the relationships between these characteristics. Additionally, leg asymmetries between the dominant and nondominant legs during unilateral VJ and HJ were assessed. Thirty-nine male soccer ...

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between maximal sprinting (MSS) and aerobic (MAS) speeds in a cohort of highly-trained young male soccer players with the influence of body mass controlled for using allometric scaling. MSS and MAS were obtained in 14 pre-age at peak height velocity (APHV) players (12.3 ± 0.7 years), 21 circum-APHV players (14.3 ± 0.9 year) and 26 po...
